A Mouse or a Snake? On the last day of CES 2009, I got to sit down with Razor founder Robert Krakoff to talk about the new Razor Mamba.
The Mamba is Razor's first wireless mouse and the only wireless mouse created for hardcore gamers. As many of you know, gaming with wireless mice has never been a good idea. Due to the latency of the sensor, battery life, weight, and signal conflict, using wireless mice to play the most common PC games such as first-person shooters has always been a problem. However, after 8 years of research and development, Razor appears to have solved the latency issues in wireless mice.

No, There's No Shooting Jokes Here. I'd never thought that I would actually want a pacemaker until I saw the Pacemaker, and damn is it just cool. Take all the equipment a typical DJ would need, squeeze it down to the size of an iPod, and you have the Pacemaker from Tonium. This isn't some toy either. It's a fully functional 120 gig mixer and a 700 dollar party in your back pocket complete with jog wheel, touch sensitive cross fader, and color TFT screen. So now you have the ability to walk into a party and plug right into the stereo to really get the place jumping. Now the only thing left to do is to serve up two tracks from its dual channels and create the next big copyright law suit! Check it out here.

Frankly, my dear...
It is 3am on November 13, 2008. Thousands of bleary-eyed video geeks roll out of bed and sit staring at the computer screen. Waiting. Watching the countdown, shaking with anticipation. Then finally it happens and servers start crashing. The excitement is in the air!
Is it the end of world? Nope. It is, however, the start of a new world.

Gaming love, it's a burning thing. And for Xbox's it's a fiery ring. Now we've all heard of the Dreaded Red Ring of Death when it comes to the Xbox 360s. Sometimes we heard it from legitimate sources while other times the "news" has been from "competing" camps that support other consoles. Nevertheless, the RRoD phenomenon is a real issue, regardless of what statistics have been tossed about (besides, we all know that 58.735% of all statistics are made up).
Latest news, on the other hand, makes it a little harder to deny. Squaretrade, a company who specifically handles electronics warrantees has released their info in regards to 360 durability. 16% are known to have issues within the first 6-10 months of use. This is in comparison to Squaretrade's average 3% failure rate in dealing with the "other" consoles.
